...hopefully a very quick question!
Have seen a D3 HSE 2005 I want to buy. Have asked whether it has the intergated phone.
The vendor has said:-
"The multifunction steering wheel has the telephone toggle button on the side which, when pressed, silences the stereo & brings up a message ?no telephone connected"
Sounds like it has the phone....but can one of you that is 'in the know' just give me the nod please (I have an iphone BTW)?

The messages between Frapp's 07 and Eyeball's 05 MY possible future car could simply be a differene in software to the bluetooth module!
If it has telephone switches i don't think it necessarily means it has bluetooth, i'd ask the vendor to switch ignition on and see if you can find "land rover" in your iphones menu, if its factory fit 2121 is the pairing code
If it has got the bluetooth module and you purchase the car, the software can easily be bought up to date via someone with a Faultmate or via Wiggs(forum guru)exchange module service!

Thanks for the replys Frapp and dsd1036.
I asked him to check with the phone and he has responed with:-
"I’ve just been out to have a look and it doesn’t look like its got it as factory fit, as it’s not showing on my phone’s bluetooth screen. When you click the telephone toggle switch, it waits for a voice command, which I can use to change the radio, etc, but not do anything with my phone (which makes sense if it’s not paired/connected with the car).
I’m sure I’ve read on one of the forums that it can be retro-fitted, as can most things to the HSE."
Can anyone give me a ball-park idea as to the cost of getting it to work as this is a bit of a clincher for the car?
