I have an error that comes up suspension height cannot be changed and must stay at normal height. It happens after I start the 2005 LR3. I also notice what sounds like a pump (compressor?) struggling before the error comes up. I have heard that the problem could be a sensor, compressor, dryer issue. I imagine this would have to be investigated by an authorized LR mechanic.
I have 2 questions. I never use the ride height adjustment.
1. Will having this error cause any problems if it goes unattended?
2. Is there a way to turn off or defeat the ride height? Fuse etc?
Thanks.

I had the same symptoms last year. My compressor was on it's way out. Dealer replaced under warranty. Problem solved. 16 D4 Landmark

Thank you for the information. Unfortunately mine is out of warranty.
Dealer says $175 to diagnose.

If you turn the engine off as soon as the light comes on, does the compressor keep running? In which case, it could be something as simple as a relay sticking on.
