Steinbauer ECU upgrade Question

Has anyone got any experience with a Steinbauer ECU kit ??

It claims a 38 bhp increase etc etc for a plug in box. Just wondered if anyone has one fitted.

I had one on my VW T5 and it worked well, it's more advanced than a simple fuel pressure upper.

I had won fitted until recently. Very good.

You can have it for £50.

Only removed it because i had a deCat and Allisport intercooler so needed a remap.

Cheers Moo. That's cheaper than the one on eBay.

Www.hollandrover.co.uk have them on the Market for £750.

It was on the car 5 years. It was originally called a P-Box and was dealer fitted by TH White in Swindon. it's currently sitting in a box in the garage. I'm just having a garage clear out.

It's a cheap option if someone wants to have a power hike.

Main black box sat in the second battery box with connection to each injector.

It does work very well. I originally fitted it help with towing my boat.

Bodsy,

If you want it and want to make some money then take the opportunity.

£50 it is and all money to H4H.

I had a Steinbauer on my D4 3L. It increase the torque by 3.28% and the HP by 18.57% - that was on its full setting. Confused

However got rid of the Steinbaurer and replace it with a brand called 'ChipIt'. Got 13.45% increase of Torque and the HP increased 26.68%. The ChipIt was a custom tune and its a absolute blast to drive! Thumbs Up
