Coincidence - EPB and Parking Sensors? |
|
Needed to jump start the D3 this morning - I'm aware that the battery is on it's last legs so surprised by that
However, since re-starting both the EPB warning light has come on and the parking sensors aren't working
I'm no expert but this cannot be a coincidence. Are they on the same fuse or something? '06 TDV6 HSE, Java, Black Leather, Logic 7, Privacy, Steps

Hi Dave,
It's unlikely to be fuse-related. More likely to be the ECU becoming confused by battery low voltage.
As you say that the battery is on it's last legs, replace it with a new, genuine LR battery and all will probably be well again (unless you also have an alternator problem).
Best Wishes,
