i had a feeling it wont be easy Rolling Eyes its ref a friend with a d4(forum member but not good with computers)i said i would put a thread out for him, yesterday a white van man wanted his side of the road and took the whole mirror body clean off Evil or Very Mad then the b Censored d cleared off,the only good thing is it has not done any damage to the door.he has an indy down the road from him(rcv)i think he is going to get a quote from them, lets just hope there is some stock around.
cheers

ps
a mirror seems insignificant compared to your rebuild.

You've probably managed it by now but there is a link on here somewhere that has description and images for replacing the door mirror. I did mine last year, wasn't as awkward as it seemed, just had to take care with removing the door handle, for such a chunky car it doesn't half have some fiddly weak clips here and there Laughing

Hope you got it done ok.
