Km/h
Hit France before Easter in the D4 a month after it rolled out of the dealers. Got onto the autoroutes and for the first time noticed that the speedo only has MPH markings. Checked through the menu and you can change celcius to farenhiet, but not MPH to KMH in the digital display. Good job I had the trusted TomTom to let me know whether I was breaking the French speeding laws as my brain doesn't easily compute at the same time as driving (autoroutes are easy, just when you are on the normal roads with ever changing speed limits).
So .... has LandRover really not taken into account that D4 drivers may cross the Channel occasionally (and I guess that also goes for the French guy I saw driving his D4 in Wells last week).11 HSE Santorini Black

When you say the speedo do you mean the round dial or digital? ...the round dial should display both mph & kph EDIT though the only pictures I can find show either MPH or KPH ...I think if you go into vehicle settings and change the trip computer units to kph then that should change the digital display also.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

The round dial only shows MPH but you can display MPH or KPH in the digital display by working through the SETTINGS menu Duncan

Hang on, hang on!! No kms on the speedo needle display, is there a digital km speed display rather than odometer??

Yes del
They can't have missed it out as all vehicles made after 1.4.84 must be capable of displaying both mph & kph 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

so, me thinks there must be a trick I am missing here....
Big round dial thingy, otherwise known as a speedo (not of the swimming variety) only has MPH marked on it.
Then, there is the digital speed reading and no matter which menu I select, I can only find the ability to change the temperature units, not the speed:( HELP!!!! - with simple instructions and pictures 11 HSE Santorini Black

DiscoDunc is very close:-
(press "OK") on top right of steering wheel.
Scroll down to the menu & select "Trip Computer" then select "units". Then select the last option "KMH....etc".
Then exit the menu.
A digital readout in KM/H will then be displayed.
Mark.

thanks Dunc (and everyone else). I feel suitably embarrased now that the b*** obvious that was in front of my nose has been pointed out.
I vaguely remember seeing that menu when I was having the first 'play' through all the buttons, but damn'd if I could find it when I needed to 11 HSE Santorini Black
