changed fuel filter and its the same but what if i got the pipes mixed up when refiting new filter what fault would this cause as not sure if i fitted them correctly got a bit paranoid over it any boby got an idots diagram (pics of pipe fitting)just to put my mind at ease or as they are colour coded which colour goes where! car runs ok until i do more than 2000 revs or is the fault something else and i should look at something else any body got a clue. its a 2004 tdv6 auto car was stood for 2 week at airport and started playing up on return home if this helps many thanks steve always up to somert usualy no good acording to swmbo

It could be the filter. I've never fitted one, and I know they have been known to be fitted incorrectly and it to cause issues - though can't remember what the fault was.
It is also possible that it's something else - a search of ESF will produce a few hits probably Mark.
