Not a brilliant picture, but this is what it looks like.

My MY10 HSE only has the pocket and grab handle LED's not the ones on the opener (I spent 10 minutes looking and found nowt) was this an update for the MY11? After looking at the picture didn't think I'd seen em there, took about 3 weeks to spot em in the door pocket!

My 2009 HSE does have LEDs illuminating the door openers. However they are green LEDs, not white and you have to look close to notice them, they are not as bright as the white ones.

The only way to turn off the lights is to remove all four door cards and unplug the lights
The power for the lights comes from the side light loom in the carRemote time climate
Surround cameras
Privacy glass
Tow bar storage
Side steps
Chubby cooler
Genuine LR rubber mat set
Genuine 2nd row seat covers
4 x black wheel centre caps

Thanks for the info - Thats what I thought but it seems crazy to me that the mood lights are on when you are driving in the dark but are off - when you need them - when you stop and need to find things around the car. Ho Hum

Wiggs - thanks for your comment but I'm afraid that I don't know what a 'faultmate' is or where I get one. Can you help?

Although I don't find the mood lighting intrusive at all you can dim it by using the adjuster next to your headlamp switch Cheers Ian

That's something I would like to try on my D4. Unfortunately all references I can find regarding removal of the door cards seem to be for a previous model. I have a new XS and the handles and fittings seem different. Does anyone have details on removel of the new door cards? (Don't fancy ruining a 6 week old car )
Many thanks to anyone who can help
Alan
