Just had a quote from my dealer (Rossleigh, Stockton) to have my first service done – £391 . They then went on to say that it usually works out a bit cheaper than that (didn't know why!!) and that the average bill comes in at £350.
I told them that I had further enquiries to make to which came the reply "We'll match any quoted price" making me wonder why they are trying to sting me for £350 in the first place
Don't like to think that the dealer will be servicing my car at a loss if he was to match that – they might not do such a good job so it's off to Les Potts next Tuesday!Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years. Miss the car but not the big bills

That's a very good price Bernie but I've booked it into Les Potts now as they are not too far from where I work in Billingham.

No wishing to rub salt in the wound here, but my LR3 purchased in Dubai comes with 3 years unlimited mileage servicing - I would have thought the same thing would apply to the UK.

In Ireland you don't even get a full warranty, and you can forget about servicing - only a 3 year, 60,000 mile warranty - whichever comes first.
Luckily I've got a UK sourced D3 so I'll have an unlimited 3 year warranty, as I'll probably be at 60,000 miles when mine is around 2 years old.IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver
