Disco 3 3rd brake light replacement - please advise

Hi, can anyone advise me please. I managed to crack my Disco's 3rd (middle) brake light. What is the best way to remove the cracked light cover in order to install a new one?

Hope someone can help, thanks.

There was a post about that quite recently - as I recall, the official method is to smash it and pick out the pieces as it is bonded into the surround.

Thanks for the advice gentlemen. Dave, how difficult was the actual installation of the new light?

I didnt fit a new rear light but replaced it with a rear spoiler with integral light, but it is pretty much the same proceedure as they are both bonded in place, when I fitted the spoiler I made sure that it didnt get wet for 24 hours or so to allow the adhesive to go "off"
