Exterior Temp on Dash

Hoping I have no problems, new to the D3 and wanted to share something that I have noticed today.

When I went to work this morning the Dash Pinged and the snowflake was flashing on 2 degrees, but tonight the car stayed on 2 degrees and gradually climbed to 10 degrees after 4-5miles.

Is this normal?, reassurance would be appreciated

Bill

Hi Will, the ***ping*** is a frost warning generated as soon as temp outside drops below 4C. The temperature rises quite slowly , so unless you think it's still 2C where you are ; 10C seems reasonable to me...
You'l have plenty more ping/pongs etc... Just look on the info-display. You might have to press the end of the indicator handle several times to 'page' through. Eventually it'll say why it "sounded"... 'Rolling Eyes'
