Tyre Suppliers

Can anyone recommend a supplier of either the Cooper STT 's for the 17" rims or the GY MTR's for the 19". Tried a few online suppliers and none have them listed with the exception of blackcircles.com quoting £211 for MTR's Shocked

ProTyre, various branches, but the Bristol no. is 01179540123
I've yet to find anywhere that beats them on price or service for performance tyres. I reckon they will be as good for 4X4 tyres though.

MTR's would be ideal, I am trying to source a set of HSE rims to put them on but not found any yet. Been offered a set of 19" RRS alloys but the seller thinks that they will be too big for the D3 when shod with MTR's, any idea if this is right, I thought they were the same size wheel?

MTRs will fit RRS rims and they'll fit on the D3 but as they're wider you stand a much greater chance of damaging the rim. D3 rims look better anyway Wink

All terrains - Grabber AT2's in the correct size when they finally come out.
Mud terrains - Nothing seems to be available in the right size yet, you can fit oversize Copper STTs but you'll rub some of the plastic in the wheel arch away

OK, thanks for the help. I have been offered a set of 19" RRS rims with tyres which will look nice for daily use 8)

Nene valley have Coopers at reasonable prices so have decided to fit them to the 17" rims for off-road, not too worried if I scrape them!

Next question is do I go for Cooper ST or STT, any recomendations from people who have fitted them please?

19" RRS rims are an inch wider (9") than D3 19" rims (8"), as I've got these on my D3, with 255/55x19, so the same size tyre as D3 HSE uses (RRS uses 255/50x19).

Pretty close to the suspension upright, but as this moves with the wheel, it doesnt matter. i'v done over 10k miles with these on with no problems.
