Just spotted the different tyre size, if I fit the RRS wheels with 255/50 tyres it equates to a 3% speedo inaccuracy, not too comfortable with this, should I be concerned?

Given LR's inflexibilty when it comes to warrenty claims, I wanted to keep changes from standard to a minimum, so although I've fitted the RRS 19's (and my set came with 255/50x19's but I swoped them for 55's), by sticking to the same size tyre as the HSE uses, the gearing hasnt changed. Also, the 255/55 on the 9" wide rims look better than on the D3 8" rims. They dont buldge quite so much. I had them checked for fit and clearence at JE when i first fitted them, and one of their guys thought they looked good and suited the D3.

Perhaps then I should get the RRS wheels and then fit MTR's in the correct size to save me having to swap wheels around Smile

If you put STs on your 17s, I can recommend them. We are currently off road everyday on a smallholding with no tracks (yet). Superb grip on all slopes.

I have a spare 17" alloy that came from ebay. It got chipped in the post but would be fine hidden away as a spare. Give me a shout if interested.
