Bluetooth & Navigation Fault - Help!! |
|
Hi All,
For some reason my bluetooth has always dropped in and out when I have been on call however having read some posts I put my phone bluetooth on before getting to the car, hey presto it worked. No longer did my calls drop out and I have to put the code back in. Earlier today though I didn't follow this routine and turned bluetooth on my phone after.
The call started through the handsfree but then dropped out as per before. This time though this has resulted in the navigation screen staying on and also the phone icon staying on the centre console. Also the radio doesn't turn on, the controls don't work on both steering wheel and radio as well as the displays won't go off.
Had this happened to anyone before or have an idea of what may be the issue or resolution?
Thanks a lot!
Riz

Sounds like you may need to consider doing a hard reset unless somebody can come up with something different.

The 1st Ever RRS Modded Grill

Thanks Narpy...didn't manage to do that and low and behold, battery dead this morning....
I have seen a few posts about jump starting other cars with the Disco but haven't seen any the other way around - is there a specific way I should be doing this or am I okay to hook up my 3 series and leave it running fro 10-15mins?
Any help appreciated...

Dead battery, never a good thing.
I strongly suggest you have your alternator checked once your car is running because it may well be that which has mullared your battery. Mods:
Front Fogs + Halos
FBH Remote Control
The 1st Ever RRS Modded Grill
Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.
D4 Steering Wheel.
Rear Boot Spoiler.
Twin Brake Lights.
Wing Mirror Indicator Repeaters.
