Stone chip

I've picked up a stone chip on the bonnet - through the colour and exposing the white base coat.

Anyone found a good wax to hide this with? I've tried the silver/grey Turtle Wax Colour but it's too pale against the Stornoway Grey.

Thanks.

Best to get a touch up stick from Landrover and a cocktail stick to just put the smallest of amounts in the chip Smile

Or look at the chip-ex paint system

If you opt for it search for a discount code first

I got one within 500 miles when a toe rag in a Tourag (I kid you not) whizzed by at about 60 in the slush. It's tiny and I just make sure that it gets covered when I use my wax. Once you start touching them in, it'll be a life's work given that the front end has the profile of a brick wall Big Cry

Cocktail stick and blob of paint is best bit - keep doing it until it is slightly proud and then polish the excess away (I use Aitoglym) - not 100% perfect, but sometimes as good as chipsaway ect.
Gravel rash is another issue though[/quote]
