Asked in off-topic, but moved here because its not: ( )
I've got two LR child seats in my car. They are fixed using the seatbelt, but do seem to move around considerably. They are ISOFIX standard - so how do I go about fitting them using ISOFIX? Disco 5 HSE Lux

On the child seat there should be 2 metal bars comining out of the seat at the bottom rear, these have a little catch on them which catch the metal fixing point in the rear seat of the D3. If these are isofix seats you would probably have to remove a covering plate from the back of the seats to expose the isofix fixings. Loving the power of the TDV8!

Have learned that ISOFIX is available only under 15kg. As my kids are heavier than this (16 and 18 kg now) and had the same problem purchased two sets of "child seat retainer belt"-s from the baby shop. These are a pair of long belts to be looped around the back of the baby seat and the back of the passenger seat (running two vertical loops, kinda like a "hosentrager" running from shoulder to hip on both sides. This helps to keep the seat in place nicely... TDV6 HSE Java Black, auto, difflock, fridge, winter, 7-seater, PDC, privacy, AHL, sunroof - 3rd row fixed

Have now seen ISOFIX up to 18kg - no good for me now though, all mine are above this.....
Perhaps I'll have to slow down around corners. Disco 5 HSE Lux

Is this why you can't buy an ISOFIX booster seat. I've searched the internet for one. Would love to get one, as a standard booster seat moves about and does rub on the leather. I put a pillow case under the seat to protect the leather. Matt

Old idea of mine for the dogs but would work well for car seats too..... an offcut of rubber backed carpet... rubber site doesnt slip on leather and is thick/strong and easily tailored to fit exactly.

I had a look at the following but did not buy. Whilst it would have been good for the middle row it is no good for the rears.

I have used a velcro strap around the head restraint to stop the seat moving around.

That's a good find. It looks the same as the LR seats (in design).
Velcro idea's a good one too. My seats don't slide about, they lean when you corner (unless I've got the oldest one in the middle to prop them up!). I'll give it a go.

When using non Isofix seats on leather a rubber mat should be placed under the seat. this will give grip to the seat and stop any sliding and also save your leather HSE TDV6 Silver : "Avin it large"

A Spanish company called Jane sells an ISOFIX booster seat. I've tried it but its a real pain to fit (albeit I didn't try it in my Disco).
They include an approved car list with their website but the Disco was not on it. I sent two e-mails to the co but got no response which put me off.
Edited to say that someone else had given the link!
