Headlight cover
Does anyone know if the outer plastic cover on the headlights can be replaced? I have several cracks in mine after hitting birds etc (the feathery kind) and now I've noticed they have started fogging up, so must be letting in moisture. Close inspection shows that it could be possible, but I can't see the part on Microcat, although my version is very old, so maybe a part has been released more recently?
This is the image from my microcat:

That has been asked before and the answer was no then. I suspect that this has not changed. Think it is to do with the bonding process.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

So the only way to fix a few quids worth of cracked plastic lenses is to replace a perfectly working complete headlight? Nice one Land Rover! What were they thinking? They are the first things to get it, being right at the front obviously. I've never had any major impact at the front, just the odd bird flying out from the hedgerows, yet both my lights have cracks in.
They may not get fixed after all then....D3 TDV6 HSE 2008 Buckingham Blue (current)

No help right now, but after you have had to replace them with the MoT failure, there are substantial clear plastic covers available that will stop the expensive replacements going the same way.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.
