LR Insurance renewal
My renewal dropped through the door this morning ....and it s a big again to LRI (old RSA Policy) ...£50+ cheaper than last year. Ultimate peace of mind 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Glad to be shot of LRI (RSA) tbh Rich, they have been a right royal PITA the last couple of years as their admin side doesn't know its ar$e from its elbow. The only thing I miss is that they do fully comp cover in Tunisia/Morocco where NFU is 3rd party. As they don't do remaps and now don't do offroad cover there was absolutely no reason to stay with them. If the confirmation of cancellation is indicative of they're ability to administer policy then god help their customers, I've had about 9 different documents, all different and all wrong, including a cancellation schedule today over a month after the end of the policy, again wrong!

Absolutely, deffo RSA! I had told them of both remaps, and paid extra for the one on mine three years ago. The renewal said I confirmed that the car was not modified, I queried this and was told the don't do any mod that increases bhp, and have never done so! They would only cover me if the cars were reverted bcd to standard and got proof of this. I asked if I did this do they still do off road cover, was told no, they didn't do that any more! Then no reason to stay with them so now NFU.
PS they have messed my policies around so much ghat they had no access to my early notes and was told that even if they did confirm what I said and they had covered it they were cancelling my policy anyway and didn't ave to give a reason.

Hmm not the experience I have had I must say. They still honour my old Torq Tune remap letter ..even though I don't have it on this one ..I check every time.... and they still cover off-road as stipulated in the policy document. a strange one 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
