Offside Pretensioner & ISOFIX |
|
Two unrelated subjects, but thought with al the knowledge you guys have, someone is bound to know
My airbag light's came on, dealer says it's £400 to fit new pretensioner. I My local garage says that it's basically a new seat belt and the pretensioner is the part that pushes you back into the seat before the airbags inflate.
They'll be able to do it cheaper, god knows what the dealer's labour charges are. Plus a re-set might make the difference given the size of the potholes which might have set it off in the first place !!!
Anyone had any similar experiences ??
Second question is, my Disco is a 54 plate, do you know if it has ISOFIX fittings or are they for lthe later models ?
Cheers
Phil

Phil,
ISOFIX is standard on the outer 2nd row seats on all D3's.

Dunno, never used them.
But surely someone will be along with the right answer.
