Aux. Lights - software switch on.
I've read on several threads recently about the cost of dealers switching on the software for auxillary driving lamps, Chris200100 I recall around £70, Gareth £53.
I've just called Guy Salmon Thames Ditton and they have quoted me £25 + Vat .... ...and they'll do it for me this arvo while I wait.
Why can't dealers run to standard tariffs for straightforward jobs....it's seems a right royal rip off 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I know this is a bit obvious but is there any reason why you can't just strap them onto the power feeding the full-beam on your main lights? Then they just come on when you select full-beam... Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

They need to be switched to comply with UK construction & use regs, although taking a feed from the high beam is fine as long as a relay is used to handle the power, which is pretty much what I have planned for DG, with the switch being used to enable the relay's -ve path
