"no new topics found"

Occasionally when I load up the site via my saved link to see new posts I get a blank return saying 'no new topics' when there has been since my last visit?

I seem to remember this was raised a while back and led to the introduction of the time reference search facility at the bottom of the homepage.

Why would this be. I'm using latest Safari on Mac and iPhone browser.

This can happen if you switch from using your iPhone to your Mac or vice versa, after very recently checking for new messages on the previous device...

Thumbs Up

Cheers for that. I do swap between the two a fair bit.

I get this happening occasionally when I swap between devices. It seems to depend on how I leave the site - if I close everything down properly it occurs, but if I just switch off (or the battery dies again) then it doesn't. I presume in the latter circumstances the site has not closed the session so you pick up where you were.

I PM'd Martin bout this a while ago and his response was:

it sounds like a fairly common bug in the forum software where it gets confused about when you last visited.

Can you try to log out, then log back in again and see if this helps things?

Seems to work for me
