Cost of replacement exhaust
Anyone know what typical lifespan is for TDV6 exhaust - trouble is lloking at parts site, not sure what bits needed, but looks like well over c£1200 for parts alone - and that for mild steel.
Just anotehr risk to keeping an older car

There was a thread about sports exhaust a while ago and someone worked out it was cheaper to fit a stainless non LR exhaust

There was another thread that also stated that a certain parts dealer didn't know as they'd never had to replace one so far!
TBH, if mine does fail, it may we;; be cheaper to get a Twisted Performance exhaust system or similar Bodsys Brake Bible

in the 6/7 years of working with D3 we've never had to replace any of the exhaust system, well maybe once for accident damage
LR's are excellent in their manufacture of exhausts and we only get calls for them for the older Defner's (Tdi's and NA's) and early FL1'sTLO has left the building.......

We had a petrol Freelander which lasted a good nine years on its original exhaust.
