| K9 *** Coniston Hotel nr Skipton |

Followed K9 down the A65 Skipton bound yesterday (Sat 15/1) then they turned off into Coniston Hotel at about 10:00am.
Question is was it shooting, fishing, falconry or LR experience that took you there? Alternatively apologies if I've just blown your cover on a 'fun' weekend at the hotel!

None of the above! 
Woohoo! I got spotted! That would be me & I hope it was before 10am! As was loading hounds at 9.30 am for hunting!

Yes, thinking about it again it must have been earlier as I was in Nottingham for just after 11:15am!
Glad to have spotted you, I travel from Bentham to Skipton and back every day so may well spot you again!

Well I go there every Tue & Sat for 9am ish so may well! Will check my mirrors better!
I've worked for them for over 10yrs on & off! & never been round the offroad course! As far as I see it aint off road when it is all hardcore!!!!

Yes, often fancied a little 'diversion' onto the track when I go clay shooting at Coniston but never had the bottle!
It does look impressive when they park the LR's on the 'drop-off' high up alongside the A65. Wes

Not hit many clays with my air rifle Wes  quite a few wabbits and birds though!
Got a half day at Coniston of Ribb motors when I bought D3 - and it wasnt bad at all, up the steps etc - very good. not worth £250 pp though!

thats why I have some many kids mate - too much shooting!!! might have a chat with ya about shotguns Wes - I shot a few years ago but never got chance to get into it, would like to give it ago one day.

We definately need a days shooting then mate when the weather warms up! We could either go to Coniston or I have a mate with a private ground at Over Kellet, much more relaxed to get started with.
This sounds like a good reason for a few more beers to plan the day!!
