| Rain sensors - inoperable |

I was enjoying the wipers coming on automatically when I drove through a puddle - what an intelligent car. This now seems to have stopped - is there a manual over-ride which I have accidentally tripped?
I'm not even sure where the sensor is on the windscreen so cant look at that - any ideas?

make sure the rhs stalk is in the correct position (up one notch) so the wipers are in semi auto mode. then clean your screen well especially around the rear view mirror out side and the edges. While your at it clean the inside - makes everything brighter !
Mine was a little erratic until I cleaned everything well - now I do it every month or so in winter.
Lurk  Why do I have 2 big hands when my D3 maintenance requires small hands and at least three of them ?

Thanks - looks like it may be user error! I love my new car but I do feel that there are lots of bits and bobs to remember. All part of the fun!
