Hi,
on my disco 3 2.7 auto trans I hear a noise, like I have play on a shaft, when slowing down to almost zero and than accelerating.
I read somewhere that this is the lock up that comes in at about 12 mph /20 kmh.
The transmission and converter was overhauled about 10000 miles ago, I had the same sound already before.
I also hear it when I'm driving at constant speed ( i.e. 50 mph) and play with the acc pedal.
I checked the front and rear axle for play, all o.k.
The only thing I see is that when turning the output shafts on the trans opposite of eachother there is pretty much play and I hear the p[lay in the transferbox.
anyone experience with this?
