Diff oils
Could someone please let me know about the diff oils. I know that a Castro oil is recommended but I want to see if the oil I have is ok. I also see that different oils are recommended for the E type rear diff which I guess means a rear diff lock so a limited slip type oil needed. Is there a way to tell if my HSE is the E type and if it's not dies LS oil matter.
I have 3 unopened litre bottles of Motul Gear 300 LS 75-90 oil which is I am told a pretty good quality oil so is this ok for the doffs on a D3.
Cheers

If the rear diff has an electrical connector plugged in, its an E diff.

I've always used Motul oils in my Ducati engined bikes, quality stuff and have Motul in my diffs but can't for the life of me remember the spec.
If it's the correct spec for your Disco, then I wouldn't hesitate using it.
