Why you should remove your fixed towbar before offroading...

Temporarily failing to make forward progress…..

Yeap, remove it!
But also tires!!! Did you lower their pressure? Helps them clean up.
If you bring a compressor, you can lower them to 16lbs and see if you get out.
Have to turn off DSC, put it in sand mode, tranny in 2nd and low gear, move the steering wheel left and right.
Should be able to get out...

Did you get to see my video:
&hd=1

At the end, when I get stuck, I did just what I described.

The tow hitch was wedge in tight it would seem. A lump infront of the from front wheels, the rears off the ground in watery mud. Not really alot you could do apart from better preparation Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

It wasn't really stuck, TBH if I'd have remembered to bring my spade, it would have been clear in about 30 seconds of digging out the towbar.

Didn't lower the pressures as I wasn't carrying a decent compressor. Tried several modes before testing Windy on his distance 5m parking technique.... Laughing

I have to say, it was more for the spectacle of something to do Whistle Whistle

Tanters, my lad thinks I'm Houdini..... Embarassed

He loved having a go behind the steering wheel though (even if it wasn't moving).
