Have been using a compatible Sony Ericsson which other than the odd non-pairing episode works fine, however I recently updated one Contact's mobile phone number on the phone (just edited the number) and while the new number shows on the phone itself, the touchscreen still shows the old number!
The LR manual indicates that the address book is downloaded each time the phone is paired and the view always seemed to be that the screen was just using the phones own features but this seems to indicate that the car's phone screen may be more standalone (like the old plug in boosted system) and just be piggy-backing on the phone's SIM card over bluetooth.
Anyone know more about the technical details of the LR phone system?, and in particular how to have updated Phone book details show on the screen?

Strangely, even after repairing, the LR screen is showing BOTH the contacts on the phone (sony-ericsson) and also the SIM card! - on the phone itself it is set to just display the phone contacts as the sim card has limited capacity & just used to back up most important numbers.
Any thoughts?, as it is resulting in duplicate numbers from both sources (which was why I thought it was not updating as it was actually showing numbers in the format of surname, first name on the LR screen while the updated number was in firstname, surname as is set in the phone's directory & I hadn't altered the sim copy!)
