SE Model Can't adjust seat without key ?

My 2005 SE model will not let me adjust my seat without the key in the ignition and turned to pos 2. Can this be changed by reprograming.
I like to adjust my seat before starting the engine or turning the key.
My dealer said the only seats that will adjust without the key are the seats with memory settings. Anyone else with this same problem? 2002 Vienna Green Disco II = Hers

Kuwait 2005 LR3 4.4 V8 HSE Auto Adriatic BlueLR3

I have the HSE model with memory seats and it's doing the same as yours, You cannot change the seats position without the key on pos 2.
Actually all LR3/D3 are the same but I heard that only with the 07 model you can adjust the seats without the key in ignition.

Just been and tried mine, works without the keys in the ignition. Do you guys not have the 'lazy entry' option? D3 TDV6SE

I didn't enable the lazy entry, I'll try and see if there is any difference.
