My Discovery is reluctant to pick up however much you push down the throttle , to get it rolling you need to eventurnately get it reving and then pulloff Ok at circa 2000 rpm pulls as normal but let the rpm fall below this and no power like the turbo is not connected what is the problem?

Are you getting more black smoke ouit teh back when doing this? Soiunds like either a) the EGR valves are stuck open or b) you have a split in the Intercooler hose ot it's delaminated inside. Bodsys Brake Bible

No signs of any black smoke from the back do I need to take intercooler pipe off to examine and how do I tell if EGR valves are stuck open again physical take them apart can they be freeed or should they be replaced / blanked off?
