TDV6 no power, no dash fault, lot of black smoke
I have a 2006 HSE and after a hard acceleration, now I think the turbo is not working.
The car starts fine, theres no fault lights in the dash, and if drive slow no problems.
But when you push the pedal... No power like if turbo not kicking in, and a lot of black smoke (fuel not burn)
I did change the fuel filter and no dif, and air filter was changed a couple of weeks
Can someone point me in the right direction ?

Split intercooler hose would be the first thing to check.

Note, I'm being restrained!! I'd have usually said "Welcome to CFT" (Club Fooked Turbo) but having eaten 1/4 jar of Quality Strret I'm in a happy mood!!

It is usually the long one on the the left as you look at the engine from the front.
As you look from the front of the d3, the intercooler hose is on the left towards the front, it comes up from below and bends to the right connecting onto the aie intake.
With the big engine cover on, it is just in front of that, sorry no pics, will see if I can find some.
The other end is accessed by removing the flap in the drivers side wheel arch.
If you look in the wheel arch, towards the front and at the bottom. You will see a flap held on by 4 funny clips, remove the clips & you will see the bottom of the hose comming down & the turning towards the front bumper.
Both ends are held on by jubile clips, *****CAUTION, OIL MAY HAVE COLLECTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PIPE*****.
If it is cracked, the site sponsor Alive does a replacement SAMCO hose at a very good price. If you are unsure they will even fit it for you.
