Might be useful for someone - no idea if price is any good.

I wonder which kind and helpful user spent the morning swapping e-mails with the eBay seller so that he put up the whole kit as a single listing instead of having to buy/source everything separate
The price isn't too bad at all - the heaters have gone up a few quid lately and this way at least you only need to make the wiring - the kit includes the connector and pins for the timer and also the pin and silicone seal/bung that needs to be fitted to pin 2 of the FBH.
I asked him to include 4 pins as although you only need three - the fourth pin is useful if you want to connect a LED or something to the OUT pin of the timer or if you up one of the other three pins (they're very small).
When talking to him he mentioned that he already had a copy of Dom's FBH timer installation pdf 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

Seems to have increased the kit you get, great for the Winter
Quick reply needed please. Is there anything else needed for this and how easy to fit. (Yes I know there is loads of stuff on site but I'm being lazy!)Loving the power of the TDV8!

I think VA, thats all you require to just fire the FBH via the timer, if it is'nt its only a case of just wires needed.

Looks interesting.... but is there a 'simple' remote control for switching the FBH on?

I bought a simple remote off e-bay for £10 plus £1.50 postage. Momentary rely, works perfectly but is not coded so if somebody else is nearby on same frequency it could activate your FBH.
You still need the timer though, if that's what your asking.
