Can't afford an HSE (or SE or S)...

...so planning to buy a standard 7 seater and then get the options I want added. These are:

Black Leather
Auto
Front and Rear Parking Sensors
Bonatti grey Metallic
Roof rails

My local dealer is offering all this for £31,700 on a new car for immmediate delivery.

This seems like a good deal to me, anyone disagree? Also am I missing anything that you would say is critical? (I dont need sat nev or comms, though I would like Bi-Xenons)

Not sure where you are from, but in the UK leather only comes with SE and HSE, you can't specify it as an option on another model

And I thought you needed air suspension with 7 seaters, so the coil sprung basic model was just a 5 seater ?

All 7 seaters are airsprung, so thats ok, and the dealers I've spoken to all seem used to getting seats connolly leathered as a 3rd party after-market add-on.

Only issue there is if you get the cloth seats recovered they'll still be uncomfortable due to the lack of adjustments. Personally (not being a fan of leather) I'd rather have the comfy SE/HSE seats and get them recovered in cloth!

If you don't mind ringing around and potentially a bit of travel, you should be able to pick up an ex-demonstrator "S" auto for around this price

Look at the used car locator on Land Rover's site - there are loads of S's on there.

I posted this before...

I found that my local NFU company came up with the best deal for personal and business use.

BN and I are tight so we went for the best deal and got THE best deal !

Even get 2 yrs new for old if its written off... like a free GAP insurance. As has been said before NFU understand 4x4 drivers and knows what they are used for.

Simon and I are not actually tight, but rather frugal. Basically, if we can find something that is excellent, like the 2 years new for old ins etc and off road cover as NFU do for a great price, then we go for it. That also includes Flash refills and Magic Rubbers. Wink
