Sorting out small dents

May only work on dents near designed crease lines, but it's pretty cool and worth a go.

I think he's using the sort of compressed air duster you'll find in most office stationary stores, intended for clearing computer keyboards Wink

I tried this and it didnt work. My dent was (and still is) in the middle of the rear door. It could be down to its location though I believe its down to the slightly thicker guage metal used on LRs. Can anyone recommend a decent dent removal firm up here in Yorkshire and rough cost?

Seen similar on Youtube and it's really down to the speed of the temperature differnce and the shape of the ding. Most will "ping out" but I guess there will be some on crease lines etc that may go the wrong way.

I suppose that in theory a different apporach would be to leave the car outside in the current -5-10 degress and then carefully chucking boiling water on the offending ding.

At rour own risk, objects may be closer than they appear, and all the usual caveats included of course Thumbs Up

Seen someone use dry ice over a dent and it just jumped out was the neatest thing I've ever seen just rubbing the dry ice on the dent Thumbs Up

Christyler managed to dent his door on the Croisiere Blanche a couple of years ago. Bit dent, but no crease.
Temp there was something like -14 overnight.
Next morning there was no dent.... We thought the dent fairy must have come along and fixed it.....
