Vehicles be allowed on green lanes in national parks?
Local paper is doing a survey asking what the public think about off-road vehicles be allowed on green lanes in national parks? This relates to the Lake District area really.
Not asking people to vote one way or another but survey is here:

It is a poll where you click Yes or No - only simple thing but gets published.
Last time I looked it was 86% yes and 14% no.

I don't have a problem with women doing that in NP's, so I vote yes Alex

Having walked down the Walna Scar road just a week ago, it would never have occurred to me to take a vehicle over it - do-able, but not appropriate (it's also shown as a bridleway on the OS map rather than a RUPP, so I'm surprised there's a dispute?)
Seriously though what was the truck driver thinking ringing the police? Are we turning into a nation of gaylords or what?
Look or don't look, your choice, but don't ring the bloody police you POOF!

Is it really necessary to foul up this excellent site with these sexist and homophobic contributions?
