Transmission fault and other errors

I don’t suppose someone local to crewe has a code reader and is able to offer some assistance.

Our discovery 3 keeps triggering the following,

Transmission fault limited gears available
HDC fault
Engine fault
Suspension lowering

It triggered 1st from a cold start and is now doing it every time it’s driven

I’ve replaced the brake switch and the battery and followed the wiki instructions for a hard reset but it’s still doing it so was hoping someone could read the fault codes so I’m not chasing every possible cause blindly

Will check that tomorrow then…. Apologies for being a bit thick but still learning my way around the discovery. Where exactly is this body to chassis connector?

Behind passenger rear wheel you may see just a plug or you may see a bit of plastic shield its roughly on top of chassis rail next to spare wheel give the wires a tug and good visual inspection as the can often be corroded where the wire is connect to the pin hope this helps

Brilliant, thanks I’ll check this in the morning. If this is the culprit should I do a hard reset again?

No you will need to repair the loom first if corroded or broken

The wiring looks ok. Is it both connectors that should be cleaned?

I don’t know, that’s why I was hoping someone near to crewe had a code reader.

The full list of errors I’m getting is

Transmission fault limited gears available
Suspension lowered
HDC system fault system not available
Engine system fault

Occasionally I also get
Special programs not available
Park brake fault

If you turn the car off for a couple of mins all the faults are gone when you restart and they reappear anything from 5 miles to 5 metres of driving
