new general AT or AT2
Looking in to getting 4 new Tyres for the Disco, Been reading the posts and like the sound of the new General AT's,
I can get the AT2's for about £120 cheaper, should I pay the extra and get the new ones? what is the difference?
Cheers

Hi John
went to andy,s (AJS) a little while back to collect some tyres for a friend and had a good look at the new AT and in my opinion its a winner, i dont say that with no experience had some 30 years in the trade and a few years with a large tyre manufacturer in tyre development
I wish , preparing for the winter here in London , looking at tyres , unlike your real weather ooop north , I have to contend with snow , wet slush , traffic and bloody nails , so need a tyre for all seasons , in one day , so why is this tyre good Apart from it being New2008 ,hse, it does what it says .

Just got to get mine on before the snow hits. They were talking about reasonable snow over 600ft up norf, we're at almost 800ft!

As with grzesiul ATRs.
Same here. The ATR's are well tried & tested on and off road and have won tyre industry awards and independent All Terrain tyre comparison tests. They're also fractionally cheaper then the GG's (Protyre prices).
BUT, hopefully the AT's will be every bit as good as the ATR's, only time will tell.
