We'll be around Chippenham way next month, any recommendations for a bit of off-roading?
1. suitable for a novice, but needs to be more exciting than gravel tracks
2. dont want scratches or damage to the car
3. dont want to annoy farmers/walkers/wildlife/anybody else

Nick,
My best suggestion would be to held a bit further south to Salisbury Plain. For a great day out it won't let you down. Although, I'd recommend going with someone that knows the area. I'm sure that something could be arranged on here. Lloyd "Phat Face"

Thanks, but I'm just interested on a few tracks here and there... nothing too adventerous. We saw a few lanes in the Cotswolds when there last but unsure if they could be driven legally.
