Is there any way to use pre-defined groups users of for the sending of PMs rather than having to clutter up the forum with messages that are of relevance only to a few people? A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

Or did you have something more elitist in mind.....

There are a lot of forum users that don't contribute to posts or have nothing of value to post (myself included), but we learn a lot from these posts and forum discussions Wot's that in Old Money

I'm only thinking of the mundane arrangements involved in getting a half dozen forum members to the same location for a day out - but I never though that anyone amongst the 12,453 other registered members would find that anything less than a boring waste of space. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. It does, but I have noticed that the combination of our happy banter and signatures that take up the same amount of screen space as 20 lines of text do combine to produce extremely long threads that make it difficult to locate the little key information that is in them. One CAN send a PM to multiple addresses ( up to 5 only ), but each recipient then has to reply to the same set of multiple addresses to make it work - and folk do get missed out! Being able to set up a group to send PMs consistently to the same people would solve these problems. Not sure the forum software has that option, but you can always cut & paste the list of your bestest buddies into a word file / note of some sort (?)
