Happy Birthday to our D4
Our D4 is now into her second year. Still fresh and very very willing - despite a year lugging huge quantities of people, dogs, bikes and stuff over all types of road through all types of weather. No other vehicle comes close for the range of abilities and ability to cover that whole range with such aplomb.

Likewise my 4 has passed the 1 year mark, 15,000 miles on the clock, not put a foot wrong (touch wood). But there's not much rubber left on the supplied zeros...2016 D4 Landmark SDV6 (Euro6), Zanzibar (late run D4)
2009 D4 HSE TDV6, Bali blue (first run D4)
2007 RRS TDV8 HSE, some blue
.
At 22000 miles, it has drunk more fuel and has used more rubber than the D3 did but hey...
...what a great road presence it has, and so rewarding to drive!

yes I'm a tad miffed that the super efficient new engine 3-litre V6 in my 4 uses more diesel than my previous 3.6 V8 Sport
but it does have a lot more space inside. 2016 D4 Landmark SDV6 (Euro6), Zanzibar (late run D4)

Interesting comments about tyres.....my car is now 14 months old and has done 28K miles and there is still life left in the tyres........not much and I am trying to find some new General ATs as I write.
I think 28K is fairly exceptional for a car like a D4. We run quite a few vehicles and 12-15K is average. We had an XC90 that used a set of rubber every 9000 miles!!!
Anybody know where I can get some new ATs??2011 D4 Landmark, Mini Cooper SD Clubman, Range Rover Vogue SE
