It went for £387. I had bid to £377 and after a couple of hours of the auction ending, the guy had sent me a second chance offer and mentioned the damage. I ummed and arghed a bit about the £377 and the cost of fuel to get up to the other side of Kings Lynn (reckon about £60) so total would be £440. I can get one from my dealer for £500 without the hassle.
So I didnt respond to the offer and now its back on ebay. Might have another go at it...

I don't know the list price, but remember Nick at Yeovil LR and the members' discount scheme when the price starts rising.
I won't be bidding - alternative item planned. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

I think id go for a hannibel one rather than the Landrover one
Although i would have to have my bumps felt to spend so much on one.
I have the roof rails and bars so that will suffice for me
Ive got a very large Thule box in black metallic that set me back £400
7 years ago. So ive just recovered form that lol

I too was originally interested in the first auction for this, but the price went quickly above 'sensible' for me. There have been a couple on earlier in the year for around the £300 mark, which seems much more sensible. As you point out, the cost of travel to collect is considerable (unless you live in Kings Lynn, which is not too likely!) Discovery 3 tdv6 7 seat Buckingham Blue
Had it since new - sold Jun 17 after 12 years and 214,000 miles
