Air Con no more cold air?
Ok so had new condenser fitted two years ago and re gassed and all good until the other day. No more ice cold air🤔 It’s throwing up a permanent code as per pic. Any ideas as to where to start looking or has anyone had this code and discovered what it was. Thanks in advance before I start delving under the bonnet.

As you say the gas has leaked out.
Get a UV light under the my bonnet and look for yellow leaks on the AC pipes and components and joints

ive been getting this for 3-4 yrs now resulting in me having to get the system re gassed every march to get cold air and that usually last all year till about dec/jan when the cold weather kicks in resulting with the low pressure code coming back
ive been paying £60 to get re gassed and have had the uv dye put in to try to find a leak and as yet we have not found one the guy recons it the compressor seals going hard in the cold weather (mines a 2005) and seeing your post reminds me to get it booked for this month and although it does not help you ive decided whilst its holding pressure for the summertime i will leave it till it lets go big style then i will know whats leaking and maybe fix it
unfortunately you have to be realistic with what you spend on a nearly 20yr old car however good it may be please excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick, thankyou

Thanks Eightfoot. That is very coincidental! and I agree with you. I have checked all AC pipe work, AC compressor for an obvious leak and all seems dry so I too might have hard seals due to cold weather. So will get it booked in for a UV dye test and re gas. Fingers crossed 👍

Have you got rear Aircon? If so it will be leaking under the back left hand side just before the nearside wheelarch.. exactly where JLR decide to put some sponge protector to stop the lines rubbing on the body..the sponge holds the water and hidden from view the alloy pipe corrodes..
I converted mine to front Aircon only using a bypass pipe.. makes no real difference in fairness..

Hi Farmer Chalk. Sorry only just seen this. No it’s an SE so front only. Going in for a re gas next week. So fingers crossed. Couldn’t see any obvious leaks and the condenser was new only 18 months ago.
