Hope it works out for you.. let me know if it works out. I'm struggling with the same problem. steering vibration/wobble when braking. replaced front discs, lower hydra bushes and pretty much everything the TSB suggests (steering parts) but the issue is still there.

Now had mine done - the steering bits from the rack up to wheel along with new discs and pads. The shaking under braking is gone along with the vibration that I had like an out of balance tyre when cruising. Car had to go back to have a four wheel alignment to get the steering wheel straight though.

Hi Carwyn,
Glad to hear your problem is gone. Mine is under investigation, hopefully it will be fixed soon. Any idea what your dealer did other than what the TSB suggests?
thanks and regards,

Well, my probem is now back .... no surprise there
So that's it gone through three sets of calipers, discs etc so far !! .
And thats on a 5 month old D4
LR don't recognise it as a problem covered by the TSB because my VIN isnt in their range of problem vehicles.
Im not prepared for them just to chuck a fourth set of brakes at it.
So waiting on my dealer to get back to me with a final fix.
Not happy ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Had new front discs, pads and sensor wire fitted. Now brakes work much better and wheel wobble gone. Shouldnt the sensor wire have lit a lamp telling me that pads were worn???? Rear pads have also now been changed. Bought vehicle end of Nov 2010 and done 8000 miles. So much for checking vehicle over before selling !!

Gents-
Have all these same symptoms on my vehicle but the stealership tell me that the reason for the vibration was me not having a "Land Rover Balance (aka $200 ripoff)" and that the pulling to one side was an improper alignment from poor tire wear (2 months after they did an alignment and said the tires look good). The car is in the shop right now for that issue and a camera problem, but they think they have "solved" the steering issue. In my 3x LR's and multiple other cars I have never experienced such a lag in steering with awful vibrations. And to be told that it the reason is vibrates is because I didnt have it balanced at LR is obsured. How can I get this dealership to look closer at this issue?

Unnecessary quote removed
Had this on My D4, dealer replaced the whole front steering rack, bushes etc etc.
Had car from brand new, love it to bits, but will be replacing it with anything but another Land Rover, it's just spent too much time in the dealership getting stuff fixed under warranty.
Solution = Buy a Toyota Happy Land Rovers
