After a bit of advice here gents.
I've been doing some sums (well, the wife has) and I must be missing something in why you can spec a GS upto XS with everything other than Sat Nav, DAB radio and convenience pack (illuminated vanity mirrors ) for £33,625 before VAT. The XS is £35,915 before VAT. Does thai really mean that a Sat Nav and DAB radio costs £2290.
Is there anything else I'm missing?
Thanks in advance.

Sounds about right; when I looked at D3 prices between S & SE some years back, that was similar to my pricing of the sat. nav. - TomTom & Highway for a tenth of the price. Just remember, come trade-in, the garage will conveniently ignore the toys and value it as a GS. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

Cheers Lex,
I'm going for the XS I think. What, if anything can be unlocked on the display/nav system? D3 - Out

Unless he sees this & replies here, best send a private message to Wiggs (10forcash being away); I'm not sure what the state of play is on "tweaking" D4s. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

Pete Bell (Bellautos) is the guy for unlocking on the D4 XS. He has a number of posts with pics explaining what he can do. In short:
- 4x4 screens and nav (off-road) and various other bits that Land Rover 'forgot' to switch on on this model
- Timed/manual of the FBH and enabling for remote control (you need to add a hardware module for the remote).
I've had both done and can recommend.
