Tunisia Oct 2010 - A new format
During the recent....most excellent...Tunisia trip, I carried a GPS locator unit that recorded our position in near realtime so family and friends back home could see where we were.
Have a look at the link below which is the downloaded info wth pics at certain location. Zoom in to see locations
And you got the mandataroy pic of Noel alseep The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...
Club "yes, I too have had the EGR's replaced..."
Club "yes, I too have had the compressor replaced..."
Club "yes, I too once had the car at the dealer for a couple of weeksnearly 4 weeksover 4 weeks...5 weeks"
Club "yes, I too have had EPB failure..."
Club "yes, I too get mysterious bings and bongs..."

It truly was another great trip but work took over with vengeance when we got back, so it’s taken me a while, but I’ve finally had some time off from work and pulled together some of the Tunisia photos for the rest of you.

Just looking through the 3 DVDs of pics & vid, when did TFC say the next sign up was?? Was a fantastic trip, still got a mini dune developing in the car. Has Noel woken up yet??
After the rain last night I found a pool of very sandy water on my drive this morning - wonder where that's come from LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

jkp's wife asked that after i'd visited for paint work TLC. Without batting an eyelid he answers "Saharah". Bit like the answer to the emigration dude's question at the Tunnel - "and where are we going to sir?", answer "Calais."!!!
We arrived at the EuroTunnel terminal in Folkestone and DSL sneaks on the earlier train leaving JKP and me to catch the booked, next train. Then DSL speaks with the operators and discovers there's room for two small ones so rings JKP and moi to tell us to get a move on and through customs etc. JKP lead off and gets to the UK border control...
Border Control: "and where are we going to sir?",
JKP: "Calais."
Border Control guy thinks, we got a wise guy here: "And from there sir?"
JKP: "Er, Luxemborug... I think...."
Border Control: "Is that your final destination?"
JKP: "No."
Border Control guy, sighs and: "Where are you going then?"
JKP: "Marseille."
Border Control: "Is that your final destination?"
JKP: "No."
Border Control guy - deep sighs and: "Where are you going then?"
JKP: "Tunisia."
Border Control say: "Ahhh, 'Beer & Sand'? "
Perplexed JKP: "Erm, Yes"
Border Control: "Ok on you go "
MrH and Eric get to the same Border Control booth, guy looks at the D4 and says "On the Beer and Sand trip Sir?"
MrH: "Yes?"
Border Control: "Never mind, you're Ok to go"
We found out that DSL had said "Off to Tunisia for Beer & Sand" when he went through before us.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
