car wont open anyone help
Hi all, cant get in car this morning no response at all from key fobs (both) tried the manual unlocking system on passenger side with key but this isn't having any effect either doesn't move locks or anything, as i remember i did super lock it last time, would this affect key opening?? ..haven't used the car much for about a week or so , first thoughts were battery but i put a new one on in feb ..just contacted local stealer who hasn't any idea of getting in only manually with key but if this isn't working what next

Although I can't help you with getting in, once you do get in, I would check to ensure your alternator is working correctly and charging your battery - it sounds to me as though you have a battery voltage issue. A new battery won't last very long at all in the D3 if the alternator is not charging (mine didn't!). Also, you may not get any indication (battery warning light for example) that the alternator has died. Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years. Miss the car but not the big bills

Awesome stuff - Glad it worked.
Reggie post that solution on the club site the other day, so I'm glad it's been able to be of use to you. D3 HSE MY05 Auto

I'm wondering if there is a problem with the receiver module in the headlining? I'm sure I've read of a few where the wires get corroded 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

Just ask them to check the continuity/resistance of the green wire to make sure it is ok....if not, then they should be able to just overlay a single cable and fix it pretty cheaply 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG
