External temp display
Driving to work this morning the external temp on the dash got down to 5C, i then tunred off the ignition and left it basking in the realtively warm autumn sun. when i came to go home at 16:30 the external display still showed 5C and it rose by about 1 degree every minute or so until it got to 16C.
I don't think i've seen this before but the update for the temp display can be extremely sluggish, anyone else noticed this or am i being anal? no don't answer this one!

I think that the temperature displayed is the average of the last N minutes, not the instantaneous temperature.
The display seems to remember the average between turning the disco on and off again, so it takes a few minutes for the display to reflect the curernt outside temp after turning on.
