Sand mode permanantly

What would be the downsides to driving in sand mode all the time?

the upsides are better response (especially on aan 05) for example.

Thanks

Paul

Justifying the expense of a remap to SWMBO would be impossible.

reduced braking could be an issue I guess.

tell her the car isn't right and that the remap isn't a modification, it's repair/remedial work Wink

i think as it's been at the dealers for the last 3 weeks that wouldn't wash. She would want ot know why it's not under warranty.

Easy re SWMBO, don't tell her. But don't let her drive it again as she'll know immediately. And have a fight before you drive as you'll be grinning too much! Mr. Green

I'll wait a few weeks as new baby on the way, she'll be so tired she won't notice.
What woould this add to an insurance premium? and can the dealer upload the mapping from a newer (my07 or later) to an 05 car?
