kevinlally- new Discovery 3 tdv6 7 seat |
|
Finally placed my order today for a new Discovery 3.
I should be collecting next Thurs / Fri 21/22 July (I hope).
It will be the new Buckingham blue (very dark metallic) with Alpaca interior.
After considering new imports and ex-demo models, I've been tempted by a decent deal on a new one. A local dealer (pm me if you want more details) is desparate to meet monthly sales quota and offered me £2,500 off list.
I had been considering a Dec 04 9,000 miler Cairns blue ex dealer demonstrator, but their best price was only £1,500 less than for this brand new 2006 model year car.
Bargain! (I hope)
Fingers crossed that the decision to go with a June 05 rather than a Oct 04 build model should mean that some of the early teething issues have been ironed out...
Thanks in no small amounts to this board for advice, information and occasional sarcasm. Pity that Billing is this weekend and not the next; however there's always next year!

Very droll, like it. It is of course the second biggest Landy show.

Don't know if any of you guys have heard, but it appears that a lot of the traders are not bothering about the Malverns this year as last years was not good for them. I must say, I went and it was not too good.

scorpio, have you been to the showground at Malvern because I have not. Is there to be a off road course as usual?
