400 miles, 6 hours, £95.00!!
Just been to Cornwall in Discovery.. Longest journey so far..
Took 6 hours to do 400 miles with 2 stops...
£95.00 of fuel from empty to brim full to empty again!!
I work that out at 23mpg!!!
I was sat at about 75 to 80 mph!!!

If i had of known where "UP a tree was"
I love it down there stayed at Mawgon Porth and visited everywhere around... In total done 1500 miles...
I LOVE Watergate Bay!!!!
Just booking again to stay next year.... I would love to move down there...

Doctor thats about right for me also. 404 miles from up here to down there (Beverley) about 6 1/2 hours drive time. 23 to 25 MPGish Jules

I'm lucky if mine clears 400 miles on a tank, so anything more is a bonus.

I just drove from London to Edinburgh with a long bypass along the coastal route near Berwick, reached the hotel with slightly under 1/4 tank full. Total distance covered was 493 miles... Pretty impressive I think, I believe the trip computer said that I was getting 30.1 mpg... But I was stuck at 70mph most of the time...

Thats fantastic!!
Has the motor been re-mapped do you know?
Problem is that the cars are pretty much bricks - and drag increases by cube law.
Above 70 and the MPG falls drastically - not as bad as my old defender, but bad enough.
I tend to sit at about 70 - going 80-90 doesn't gain you that much in my experience- and I average 27-28Mark.

Filled up in France ,€81 euros during hols there, got 450 miles @32 mpg , well that's what trip comp said , but cheap and cheerful motoring eh!!!! 2008 ,hse, it does what it says .
Very strange , but while driving around the south of France , the trip comp said 48 mpg !!! Eh !!! Should have taken pics , I just laughed !! No way !! 2008 ,hse, it does what it says .
